Chelmsford 4C's Panel Competition Update
Chelmsford Photographic Society are planning to re-instate the 4 C’s Panel Competition on the 16th October 2021 at 2:00pm, a competition that fell foul of the Covid restrictions in 2020.
This is a competition for a panel of 6 individually mounted prints. See rules here:
Each club is allowed to enter 2 panels and I am currently asking members who would be interested in producing a panel to send me a digital version for consideration by the selection committee. Should the selection committee wish to consider your entry we will invite you to print the images by the 31st August for final selection. The successful panels will then need to be mounted and submitted by 30th September.
Please send 6 images numbered 1 to 6 in the order you wish the images to be hung. Ie Bumble Bee 1, Bumble Bee 2, 1600 x 1200 as per normal PDI entry. Panels are set out as:
The reason for a phased entry schedule is the uncertainty over Covid restrictions, and not wishing members to waste time & money in presenting a panel for the event then to be cancelled, although I am hopeful that with the current vaccination program we will be able to attend this event.
Even if you do not want to send an entry please put the date of 16th October in your diary. This is a free to attend event and is a great day out to see some stunning bodies of work.
This years event takes place at:
Springfield Parish Centre
St. Augustine’s Way
