An introduction to techniques used to take images of deep sky objects. The talk covers the use of film, DSLR cameras and dedicated astronomical imaging equipment.
I have always wanted to be outside birdwatching and taking photos from a young age. In my talk I wish to show how my enjoyment of being outside shows in my style of nature and landscape images.
About Sarah Kelman Sarah is a long standing wildlife photographer who will also turn her hand to anything. She is a judge on the A panel for the EAF and her work is regularly accepted for PAGB championships.
Images show what has happened, don’t they? They depict reality, they are ‘proof’. Documentary photography gives insight into events and street photography allows us to glimpse other people’s behaviour.
About Caroline Preece LRPS My photography is a reflection of both my life in London and my rural upbringing in a small country village in the South of England.

About David Steel DPAGB Though I started photography many years ago and have a strong darkroom background, my work these days is predominantly digital for convenience.
I love producing printed bodies of work and have produced numerous panels which have constantly won awards at my local clubs (Colchester & Ipswich) and have also gone on to win the Chelmsford 4 C’s annual panel competition and the Great Barr Open Panel.
About Rob Howarth During my career in photography working for the national newspapers I have been fortunate to cover many historic events from Royal Weddings through to Olympic Games and along the way received national press and sports photographer of the year awards.
